RetroX consists of a small hearing processor connected to an implanted titanium tube behind the ear. This enables the amplified sound to be directed right into the ear canal of the patient. RetroX adds only what is needed to your hearing.

RetroX is suited for patients suffering from mild to moderate high-frequency sensorineural hearing loss. First of all, your ENT physician will perform a hearing test. Once you have had a personal consultation and tried out the simulation device, you will know whether RetroX is the right hearing system for you. The titanium tube is implanted by your ENT physician in an outpatient procedure.

How Does it Work?
The RetroX® consists of an implanted titanium tube and a hidden hearing instrument. In combination with the latest digital hearing technology a better understanding of speech is possible.
Through a simple procedure, your Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctor creates a "second ear canal" with a small titanium tube.
After allowing adequate time determined by the physician, the hearing instrument is programmed to suit the wearers hearing loss and is then inserted into the tube.
The RetroX Hearing System makes it possible for people suffering from hearing loss to enjoy hearing with a natural sound quality.
